Please read these Terms of Sale before placing an order. These Terms of Sale ("Sales Terms") govern purchases from Macronova LLC ("Macronova," "we," "us," or "our") through www.macronova.co, including its mobile version (the "Site"). They form a legally binding agreement between you and Macronova LLC.
Our Terms of Service and Return Policy (Happiness Guarantee) are incorporated into these Sales Terms. Together, these documents form the "Agreement." Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Please review each policy before ordering. These Sales Terms govern purchase-specific questions, including orders, payment, shipping, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds, if the policies conflict. The Terms of Service govern other Site-use questions, and their Section 11 governs the Agreement’s governing law and dispute process. Your mandatory consumer rights apply throughout.
Please review Sections 9 and 11 of our Terms of Service. Section 9 contains warranty disclaimers and liability limits solely for the Site’s general informational and technical features. Purchase obligations and remedies follow these Sales Terms, express product promises, and applicable law. Section 11 provides a court-based dispute process, including eligible small claims courts, voluntary direct resolution, and jury and collective or class-proceeding rights where available under law.
Shopping with Macronova
Welcome to Macronova’s online store. These Sales Terms cover ordering, payment, delivery, refunds, and recurring purchases of our granola and other products offered on the Site. By placing an order through checkout that presents the Agreement for your acceptance, you agree to the Agreement. To place an order or enroll in a subscription, you must be at least 18, have reached the age of majority in your state of residence, and have legal capacity to enter into the purchase agreement.
Shopify hosts our online store and supports checkout and payment processing. If you choose a separate payment or platform service, that provider’s applicable terms also govern your use of that service.
We may update these Sales Terms and our product offerings as our business develops. Changes apply prospectively, and the version presented when you place an order governs that order. For material changes to these Sales Terms affecting existing customers, we follow the notice process in Section 7 of our Terms of Service, including its ordinary 30-day notice period and stated urgent exceptions. Subscription changes follow the specific notice and consent provisions below and applicable law. We obtain further consent where required. The date above identifies the latest revision.
Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to purchase the items listed in your checkout under these Sales Terms. We accept your order when you receive our order confirmation email with your order number and purchased items. Our rights to cancel an order for the specific reasons described below remain subject to applicable law and our refund obligations.
Please retain your confirmation and check its details promptly. We send a shipping email when your order ships, with tracking information when available. Fulfillment depends on available inventory. Product listings describe our current offers, and availability may change.
Shipping destinations and timing
We offer direct-to-consumer shipping within the United States. Checkout displays eligible delivery addresses, available shipping methods, and shipping charges for your order. Eligibility for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, and military or diplomatic addresses depends on the shipping options displayed for the address entered. Shipping offers may differ between one-time purchases and subscriptions; the applicable charge appears before you order.
We state applicable processing and shipping estimates on the Site or at checkout. Where a shipment period is unspecified, we will ship within 30 days after receiving a properly completed order. If a delay affects the applicable shipment deadline, we will provide a timely delay notice, explain the revised shipment timing and your cancellation rights, and obtain consent where required. If you cancel because of that delay, or a required consent remains outstanding, we will cancel the affected unshipped items and promptly refund the amount paid for them, including applicable tax and shipping charges, as required by law. Carrier transit estimates describe the expected time after shipment.
Taste guarantee and refunds
Our 30-day taste guarantee covers one 7-pack case or one 14-pack bundle from your household’s first order purchased directly from Macronova, including a first subscription order, once per household. If the taste falls short of your expectations, email founders@macronova.co within 30 days after delivery and include your order number. We will refund the price paid for that eligible case or bundle, after discounts, plus the applicable tax on those products. Original shipping charges are excluded from this voluntary taste guarantee. We reserve the right to request the return of unopened product at our discretion as part of a taste-guarantee refund. If we request a return, we will provide return instructions, including the applicable shipping arrangements, before you send the product. Later orders and subscription renewals are excluded from this guarantee.
For a damaged, incorrect, or missing order, contact us promptly with your order number and a description of the issue. We will investigate and provide the replacement, refund, or other remedy required by applicable law. These remedies apply independently of the taste guarantee’s eligibility limits and request window. We may request reasonable information about the order or packaging to help resolve the issue.
Our Return Policy (Happiness Guarantee) provides the complete refund and return process, including eligibility for other discretionary requests. Please obtain our instructions before mailing any product. We issue refunds only to the original payment method, subject to any alternative refund method required by applicable law. Your payment provider determines when a processed refund appears in your account.
Payment
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. By providing a payment method, you confirm that you are authorized to use it and authorize the charge for your order, including the disclosed product price, tax, and shipping charges. Shopify and the relevant payment providers process payment information to complete the transaction, as described in our Privacy Policy and their applicable notices.
A payment provider may place an authorization hold before settlement. Successful payment is required for fulfillment. If authorization or payment fails, we may ask you to update your payment method or cancel the affected order and notify you. Any collected amount for a cancelled, unfulfilled order will be refunded.
Purchase and account information
Provide current, complete, and accurate contact, shipping, billing, and payment information when ordering. Keep your email, delivery address, and payment details current for future purchases and subscriptions. Update payment details through the secure checkout or account tools. Please keep full payment-card numbers and security codes out of email messages.
Order changes and cancellations
To request a change or cancellation, email founders@macronova.co as soon as possible with your order number. Our ability to change an order depends on its fulfillment status. We will confirm whether the requested change or cancellation can be completed. Orders already shipped follow the Return Policy and your applicable legal rights. The shipment-delay cancellation rights above continue to apply.
Subscription cancellation controls future recurring charges. The subscription section below explains how that process relates to an order already charged or shipped.
Promotions and subscriptions
We may announce promotions on the Site, through social media, or through permitted marketing communications. Each offer’s displayed terms explain its duration, eligible products, redemption limits, and any combination rules. A promotion applies when its stated requirements are met.
Where subscriptions are offered, the subscription offer presented at enrollment and the subscription provisions below govern recurring purchases. Introductory pricing and the price that follows it will be disclosed before you enroll. Marketing communication preferences are described in our Privacy Policy.
Prices
Prices are stated in U.S. dollars. Applicable tax and shipping charges are shown separately before you submit an order. The final checkout total shows the amount you authorize.
We may change prices for future purchases. An order you have already submitted retains its agreed price, subject to the error-resolution process below. Changes to subscription pricing follow the advance-notice provisions in the subscription section.
Taxes
We collect sales and similar transaction taxes where applicable law requires us to collect them. The amount depends on the products, delivery destination, and applicable rules, including any tax on shipping charges. Checkout and your order confirmation identify the taxes charged.
You are responsible for any use tax or other purchase-related tax that applicable law requires you to pay directly. Macronova remains responsible for its own collection and remittance obligations.
Subscription enrollment and recurring charges
We use Appstle to support subscriptions. Before collecting your billing information for enrollment, we clearly disclose the products, quantity, delivery frequency, recurring price or calculation method, applicable tax and shipping charges, any introductory period, and the cancellation process. We obtain your express affirmative consent to recurring purchases and charges before charging you and send an acknowledgment you can retain with your subscription terms and cancellation instructions.
Your subscription renews automatically at the frequency you select and continues until you cancel. You authorize Macronova to charge your selected payment method for each scheduled order at the disclosed price, plus applicable tax and shipping charges. This authorization covers subsequent recurring charges consistent with your accepted subscription terms.
We will email you before each recurring charge with the upcoming order details, scheduled charge date, and access to subscription controls. You may change available delivery intervals, skip an upcoming order, update account details, or cancel through those controls. Complete edits or skips before the scheduled charge to apply them to that order. Any earlier cutoff for edits or skips must be clearly disclosed at enrollment and in the reminder and must comply with applicable law. Subscription cancellation takes effect under the next section and stops charges after its effective time. A charge processed before that time follows the order-change and refund provisions above.
Keep your subscription shipping address and payment details current. Update them promptly after a move or a payment-method change. Your bank or payment provider may apply fees under your agreement with that provider. Macronova remains responsible for billing errors and obligations attributable to us under applicable law.
We provide advance notice of material subscription changes and explain how to cancel. For California subscribers, a change in an existing subscription fee will be announced 7 to 30 days before it takes effect. We follow any additional applicable notice and consent requirements. We also provide annual reminders and any required notices for trial periods, promotional pricing, or long-term renewals.
Cancelling a subscription
To cancel your subscription, complete the cancellation process in the customer portal linked in your subscription emails or customer account. You may cancel at any time. If you are unable to complete the process, email founders@macronova.co for assistance. We may ask for information reasonably needed to identify and authenticate the subscription and will help you complete cancellation promptly.
Cancellation takes effect when you complete the portal process or, where applicable law requires, when we receive your valid cancellation request. We will confirm cancellation by email and stop future recurring charges. Charges made after the effective cancellation time will be refunded under the refund-method provisions above.
Account closure and subscription cancellation have separate operational steps. As described in Section 7 of our Terms of Service, we will address active subscriptions when processing an account-closure request and provide an effective cancellation route during any account-access restriction. Contact founders@macronova.co for assistance in those circumstances. We will process valid cancellation requests directly where applicable law requires.
If an order was charged before cancellation took effect, contact us promptly to request cancellation of that order. Fulfillment status determines whether we can stop it. Shipped orders follow the Return Policy and applicable law. Cancelling a subscription preserves your rights relating to previous purchases.
We may end a subscription because a product is discontinued, fulfillment becomes unavailable, payment repeatedly fails, or there is evidence of fraud or misuse. We will notify you, stop future charges, and refund amounts collected for orders we cancel and leave unfulfilled.
Product information and errors
We aim to describe and photograph our products accurately. Natural ingredients can vary in appearance and texture, and screen settings can affect displayed colors. Product descriptions, packaging, and availability may change for future purchases.
Review the current ingredient and allergen information before purchasing and the label on the package before consuming the product. Contact us if a label differs materially from the information used to place your order so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy. Consumer rights relating to product safety, descriptions, and quality remain applicable.
If you notice an error in a description, price, or order, email founders@macronova.co. If we discover a material error affecting your order, we will contact you and explain it. Any proposed change to the agreed price or product requires your agreement. If we cancel the affected order, we will promptly refund the amount paid for the cancelled items, including applicable tax and shipping charges.
Delivery address and risk of loss
Provide a correct delivery address that the selected carrier can access and arrange to receive your shipment. Contact us promptly if an address needs correction. Any proposed redelivery or additional shipping charge will be explained for your approval before it is charged.
Ownership and risk of loss transfer upon delivery to the address you supplied, subject to applicable law. If your shipment is lost, damaged, or marked delivered while its receipt remains disputed, contact us so we can investigate with the carrier and provide the remedy required by law. This provision preserves claims arising from our errors, incorrect fulfillment, and applicable consumer protections.
Order limits and resale
We may limit quantities per customer, household, or order to manage inventory and fair access. We may decline or cancel orders because of inventory limits, shipping restrictions, unresolved payment issues, suspected fraud, material listing errors, or suspected unauthorized commercial resale. We will notify you of an affected order and promptly refund amounts collected for items we cancel and leave unfulfilled, including applicable tax and shipping charges.
Purchases through our direct-to-consumer store are intended for personal use, including personal gifts. Commercial resale, distribution, and promotional sampling require our prior written permission. Contact us to discuss a wholesale or other commercial arrangement.
Product availability
Some products or offers may be available exclusively online or in limited quantities. We may discontinue a product or limit its availability by delivery destination where necessary for fulfillment or legal compliance. We will address accepted orders under the cancellation and refund provisions above. Refunds and exchanges follow the Return Policy and applicable law.
